I am so happy that I found somebody who makes a windowgarden without a pump. I don’t want to use a pump cause it’s with electricity and I want cut down that and also when for ever what reason electricity is shut down, it must still work.
Thank you very much, ThePocketPcMan !!! Big hug for the very precise information.
I’m wondering if you overlooked the fact that using an aerosol spray can to paint your bottles is a bit ironic if your intent behind the window garden is to help the environment. :)
@laterwaiter
green beans also is good with kids because it germinates quickly and you could put a bean seed in a zip clear bag with some paper towel and a small spritz of water and put the seed in and place in a warm area of the house. Kids will be excited to see how the bean germinates and when the plant is ready transplant it into the soil or hydroponic setup.
@laterwaiter I think the easiest things to grow are mixed lettuce / rocket/ parsley/ cilantro/ coriander, spinach, although i am having great success with strawberries and just trying carrots , the small round ones, radish tomatoes will be posting some more videos soon of their progress

@ThePocketPcMan Thanks, and how often do you fill up the water? once/day or?
@Ema113 normally about 3/4 minuets, but the growing median retains a lot of moisture. I usually use about 300ml per 5 bottle garden
Nice “show-how”! How long drip-time is it for the water?
